From the Jets:
Ness (6-1, 190/Arizona/Gardena, CA) originally signed with Cleveland as an undrafted free agent on May 1, 2009, before being waived on July 15. In 25 games (19 starts) during two seasons at the University of Arizona, Ness totaled 107 tackles, seven interceptions for 166 yards in returns and two fumble recoveries.

Nate Ness , Safety, I guess a replacement for Fitzhugh, just a camp body, but two interesting thoughts. Ness is a cover safety, Fitzhugh was more of a big hitter, a little bit of a style differance. Ihedigbo, the current 4th safety, big hitter but big mistakes, led to the Rams big runs. Pipeline to Cleveland, cut Paul Raymond WR after he fumbled that punt, Mangini’s Browns, pick Raymond up. Jets pick up Nate Ness from Cleveland, cozy.
