Amid reports of a last-minute meeting with Leon Washington’s agent Alvin Keels, the Jets have not announced a new deal with their all-purpose running back. Veterans are slated to arrive in Cortland for training camp tomorrow, and Washington had alluded to the possibility of a holdout if the Jets did not extend his contract.

It maybe time for Leon to get a new agent.

This is a violent game and people get hurt. Be fair, get your client some security, work on obtaining incentives, make sure he gets paid.
