I think weight loss should primarily be done using excercises but supplements can only aid.

Let’s not be naive fellow fans. Let’ face it. Today’s athletes use drugs in order to compete. Most do it, they feel they need to do it, and the bar has been raised to the extent that most ALMOST HAVE TO do it. This is true in all sports. baseball, football, and dare I say, basketball. Just look at footage of the size of basketball players of the current era compared to those of 20 years ago – it’s actually comical. I am surprised basketball has escaped the drug focus.

It’s terrible when it affects the team you live and die for, and this HURTS the Jets this year. I just hope we get back to where the teams and players we root for are clean, and this type of thing will not happen any more. I won’t care if the players get smaller, slow down a little, or hit less homers, and neither will you.

Alex, by unintentional I mean guys who aren’t cycling on and off with steroids, but who have ingested something like those legal supplements with something in it. But I guess they could all claim that since the Jets don’t even know what the substance was, it stays between the league and the player.

Those of you who say Marques Murrell, I think you are right. He looked great in training camp, Ryan even said it afterwards. Despite Gholston’s contract, I think they’ll play Murrell if he proves himself.

Pace loses 4 game checks, but his primary compensation,has been a roster bonus that has already been paid. Do the Jets have any recourse in retrieving a Pro Rata portion of this Bonus ? Would They ?

Word is that Gholston has been very impressive so far….we’ll see how that translates to actual game experience.

On another note, I find it funny that a few recent NFL retirees have basically said that all NFL players are sick of Favre’s off-season games.

Very true, but the guy that can play is Murrell, you need some wins in the first 4 games. It would be interesting to know how much senior managemnt pressures the coaching staff to play Gholston
