Grimm is up

January
5

The Jets have permission to talk to Cardinals assistant Russ Grimm, and Jets owner Woody Johnson and GM Mike Tannenbaum will meet with him in Arizona.

It’s another assistant. What I am hearing from a lot of the Jets faithful is that you want a veteran. This coach, whoever it is, is perhaps going to have to pick a new quarterback, and are there any two more important positions on a football team? And if anyone says all members of a team are equally important I will hurl. No, really.

On another note, if anyone is missing contact sports and is in Yonkers on Jan. 10, my roller derby league is having a bout (yes, that’s what we call them) at the Police Athletic League on South Broadway. Snow Bunnies vs. Ice Queens. Doors open at 6 p.m.

I would love to get the chance to skate agianst you big boy….Please take “Go Jets Go” out of your responses. It’s obvious you just have an unhealthy obsession with a man.

    Men do not interest me.Winning does.Since I’m a Yankee,
Montreal Canadian and XPacker fan,I kind of know what winning is.

Unless you are over 60, you wouldn’t really remember when the Packers, or Canadians were winning..

Why would Woody make sure he’s “in country” to meet with Grimm, but be in Europe for the Cowher interview???

Woody needs to hire a GM that knows football, not a capologist like Tanny

    The last time
GreenBay and Montreal won Championships was in the mid 90’s.
When you win if your are 10 or if you are 80 its the greatest
feeling a sportsfan can have.I guess that is why they say
when you finally win one enjoy it it might be the only one
you will get in a lifetime.
