Cold weather drops

The Jets practiced today, and in the locker room beforehand players were getting out their heat packs to put into hand warmers. A lot of them wore ski masks as well to keep out the cold, but in spite of that there were a few drops early in practice.
Eric Mangini picked his practice music well again, playing “Tennessee” by Arrested Development, “Rocky Top” and the theme from The Dukes of Hazzard. Technically, Hazzard County was in Georgia, but that’s probably getting too picky…
Bubba Franks was out there again today, but no David Harris or Eric Smith.
The most interesting thing that came out of Mangini’s press conference was the revelation that Curtis Martin was so focused during the season that he didn’t think Martin even dated.

Ok, so I’m maybe the only person who has never seen the Dukes of Hazzard. But . . . is that a girl . . . reclining on a . . . confederate flag?
WTF?
Wow. I didn’t even see that. I just posted a stock photo from the show. But yes pg…
Ok, forgive me. But, now they’re pictured with a car with “General Lee” painted on the roof? As in, Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee???
That must have been one CLASSY television program.
The Dukes of hazzard was one of the highest rated programs of its time, and surely ranks,(along with Sweet Home Alabama) as one of the most un-flattering representations of Southern culture ever produced.
Of course, Tony Romo’s GF jessica Simpson starred in the remake, only a few short years ago.
I bet Brett has no fondness for cold games, given his bad performance in Green bay against the Giants last year.
Actually, Favre’s record in games when game time temp. was 35 F or colder is quite good. They kept track of that in Green Bay – I think he only lost 2 or 3 home games when it was that cold.
Three rednecks mugging on a car called the “General Lee,” with a confederate flag painted on the roof. Any chance we could lose that pic, too? You know, there are some Black dudes in the NFL, and all?
Jonathan Swift – check this out. There is a piece in today’s Green Bay Press-Gazette about Favre’s record in cold weather:

pg – I’m just referring to his most recent effort in cold weather….the loss to the Giants.
He’s not 28, he’s 38….
