Miller to Oakland

CB Justin Miller, waived by the Jets to make way Ty Law, was picked up tonight by Oakland — NOT New England as some of the more conspiracy minded speculated.
Miller was a good kick returner but hadn’t been active for most games. But special teams will be important to the night against the Patriots. Filed position was terrible when the Jets faced the Pats in September, so Leon Washington’s return ability will be crucial.
And Jets coach Eric Mangini is waiting to make to final call on who kicks tonight, and has taken both Mike Nugent and Jay Feely up to Foxborough.
Here is the final injury report for both teams.
Jets: TE Bubba Franks (hip), LB David Harris (groin) and S Eric Smith (multiple concussions) are out. K Mike Nugent (thigh) is questionable. WR Laveranues Coles (thigh), WR Jerricho Cotchery (shoulder), WR Brad Smith (shoulder) and LB Cody Spencer (shoulder) are probable.
Patriots: LB Adalius Thomas (forearm) and CB Terrence Wheatley (wrist) are out. RB LaMont Jordan (calf) and CB Lewis Sanders (hamstring) are doubtful. LB Eric Alexander (hamstring), RB Sammy Morris (knee), G Stephen Neal (knee) and DE Ty Warren (groin) are questionable.

You know, you’re allowed to read stuff over before you post it.
C’mon, Jane – no updates?
I can only imagine that Mangini goes with Nugent…the game comes down to a
48 yard FG, and Nugent misses it.
It would be textbook mangini.
Will there be some kind of “kick-off”-off, to determine the kicker?
The Raiders can use any body they can find that isn’t used to losing
Just you all watch…Jets from start to finish.
