Brett Favre’s nephew is a quarterback at St. Stanislaus in Mississippi. Reporter Todd Kelly at the Clarion-Ledger down there has more information on this undersized recruit who is poised to bust the state’s single-season touchdown record.

This is the story Kelly writes:
For a high school football star in Mississippi with such a familiar last name, it’s hardly a surprise that Dylan Favre is creating a stir at quarterback.
Yet even his legendary uncle – the one with 18 seasons in the NFL, three MVP trophies and a Super Bowl ring – didn’t stack up with what his nephew has done in his first two seasons at St. Stanislaus in Bay St. Louis on the Gulf Coast.
Dylan Favre, a 6-foot, 185-pound junior, has completed 190 of 286 passes for 3,156 yards and 38 touchdowns. With Friday’s game at Poplarville and at least one Class 4A playoff game remaining, Favre is four TD passes shy of the state single-season record set by Clifton Davis III at North Panola in 1990.
