The win over the Cardinals yesterday was a good one for the Jets, who obviously would’ve had to ask a lot of questions if they had gone into the bye week 1-3.
Brett Favre was almost cautionary afterwards, not too high off the victory and records. Several other players echoed the tone. Jerricho Cotchery and others also said the turnaround started on the plane back from San Diego. In the second half of that game, a few of the players felt the Jets rally, which continued into the Cardinals game.
NT Kris Jenkins and his ongoing back injury seem to be the possible red flag out of this one. He said the injury recurred during practice over a week ago and he didn’t tell the trainers. This week he said he got the treatment he needed.
The Jets are available late this afternoon at their practice facility in Florham Park, so more later.

Ok, so we can take care of the bottom feeders of the league. Thats a good sign, because last years team couldn’t even do that.
Offense: B+
It would have been higher, if they had proven themselves against a legit defense. But it seems that the Favre-Coles connection is running on time, and the O-line did come together a bit more
Defense: C
If being up by 31 points in the 2nd quarter, can make them daydream, I’m worried. Why can the cards score at will, in 2 minute drives in the 2nd half??? troubling
Specials: B
nothing special here, they almost lost an onsides kick from the cards, but the kicking, and returning game was generally ok.
Overall – B; (which stands for – Bring on better competition)
Missing field goals is going to cost them in close games. Hasn’t Feely been cut before for missing? Yesterday he had no wind and near-perfect field condition.
