The Jets are announcing their personal seat license plan today at noon. As soon as it comes out, I’ll post the details. Many Jets fans have been calculating their potential cost for the right to buy seats in the 2010 stadium by using the Giants plan as a guide.
The Giants have a PSL on every seat, starting at $1,000 for upper tier and $20,000 for club seats. Jets owner Woody Johnson has said his plan will be different. The PSL will allow ticketholders to sell their seats to anyone for a profit. With 10,500 on the waiting list for the Jets, there is not as much demand for seats as with the Giants, who have over 100,000 waiting for seats.
In any event, later today Jets fans will know how much they need to borrow from the bank to remain a Jets fan in the next few season.
The Jets also announced that Fireman Ed will return to the stands this season, and The Jets Blog has some interesting thoughts on that.
