Now that the front office has been addressed, the Jets go back to the roster. The team announced it signed safety Cameron Worrell today. Worrell played five seasons in the NFL and last year at Miami, where he made seven starts and made 56 tackles.

The 5-foot-11, 194 pound Worrell was taken as an undrafted free agent by the Bears in 2003, and played there for four years making 20 tackles, two sacks, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 46 games. He also played in Super Bowl XLI. Worrell was an All-WAC first-teamer at Fresno State.

It’s another signing that doesn’t look like somebody special but he’ll get a chance. Good luck.
