Today the Jets announced they have resigned DB Hank Poteat, who was an unrestricted free agent. He started in nine of the 16 games he appeared in last year, and had two interceptions, 45 tackles and five pass breakups. Poteat was originally drafted in 2000 by the Steelers in the third round.

Do you think Poteat will be the featured starter next to Revis? He did a nice job last year and could have a better year if they get more pressure up front.

That’s certainly a possibility. I think you have to see how camp goes, and how the rookies do. But it makes sense to put an experienced player up there with Revis.
