A total of 16 players. This is a very naive question, but if the Jets don't invite players to be on the May 16th Roster...do they become "free agents" able to go to the camp of another NFL team? is there a maximum number of rookies that were initially invited, that can be added on May 16th? And conversely, can Mangini scan players not added to other teams 5/16 roster, and invite them to Jets camp? I apologize in advance if you answered these very questions in a previous story/blog.
