A team of Journal News reporters share their thoughts on the Jets with the Lower Hudson fans.

I was checking out The Jets Blog, as always, when I saw a photo of Vernon Gholston stretching without pads. The dude is huge.

He is listed at 6-foot-4 and 258 pounds, but it’s not so much the size as what he has packed on by way of muscle. One of his former coaches addressed his size when I talked to him last week.

“He gets questions about abouts steroids and supplements,” said Cass Tech assistant agility coach Wright. “That young man won’t even take aspirin.”

    Jane,
You’ve dabbled with ‘roids, right, to help your athletic career? Please consider your answer carefully lest you be hauled before the House Committee on Getting Your Picture Taken With Roger Clemens.

It’s great that he’s huge, hopefully he’ll become a huge success with the Jets. It’s a good thing McFadden wasn’t around at #6 it made the right decision easier. Hopefully it works out.

Thanks for removing that idiotic post by Boonie

As soon as I see them I’ll take them down. I’m all for free speech, but those rants belong on a different kind of site. Probably one you have to play for. And BTW, the real Boonie McSchnoogle was NOT responsible for those posts.
