2008 preseason schedule

The Jets’ four preseason opponents are out for 2008. Cleveland is up first in Week 1, followed by Washington in Week 2, the Giants in all-important Week 3, and Philly in who-cares Week 4. Do those teams sound familiar? They should. All four beat the Jets in 2007. I’d say the Jets can exact a measure of revenge, but does preseason even count as 1/1000th of a revenge unit? Probably not. The only reason we should even care is that our starting quarterback will probably be determined in Week 3 against the G-Men. Let’s hope Michael Strahan doesn’t separate Kellen Clemens’s shoulder. Â

It’d be great to see how our new improved team will hold off these teams, they beat us in 07 we’ll get to see somewhat how improved we really are.
Jake…in case you didn’t notice. The J*E*T*S signed Kerry Rhodes to a contract extension. Way to keep us up to date!!!!!!!!!
Sorry joe b, you’re right. Someone else at The Journal News is taking over the Jets beat on a full-time basis and there was some confusion over the blog. I’ll keep at it until I’m told otherwise.
