Revis is the real deal

November
26

If you’re looking for a positive from this season and especially the Thanksgiving Day Massacre is the play of rookie Darrelle Revis. I think that he’s been as advertised; he held Terrell Owens to a touchdown when the man had four in the prior game.

He has kept many of the big name receivers of the opposition in check. He’s made some stupid mistakes but also many rookie mistakes though I still question a couple of the calls in the game against Cincinnati but I was listening on the radio so…

From where he came from, having been one of the last rookies to sign and had to rush to learn the plays, till now; he’s progressed a lot and I look forward to watching the kid grow.

    So is Harris, and Rhodes.

Unfortunately that leaves 8 more positions to fill on defense alone.

    Lets be kind.

Ellis is good and so are Vilma and D’Rob even if they are in the wrong positions. Some of the other backs and LBs are decent and a better pass rush will make them look even better.

The coaching concerns me. Lets hope Sutton is not here next season.

I saw a great stat today. The Titans have given up an averag eof 60 yards rushing when Haynesworth is playing. WIthout him they give up 160. Give the JEts a legit NT and slide D Rob over and I think yoiud be shocked. Plus Vilma would be free to make plays
