And the real Jets stood up…

What to say about the Turkey day massacre…other than the blatantly obvious?! It seemed to me that last week literally was a figment of all of our imaginations. The defense didn’t attack a barking dog. Three sacks?!?!? How do you go from seven sacks to three???? Give credit to Dallas’s offensive line; it played a good game.
But in that same vane, the Jets’ O-Line couldn’t get out of their own way. The running game couldn’t get off the ground which led to the passing game doing nothing. The entire game was a bloody mess.
All I have to say is that if they play like this against the 0-10 Miami Dolphins, the fish might actually get their first win. These next 10 days are going to be long and painful.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

I thought the D played well enough, until they tired in the 2nd-half. They had no help from the O.
I was surprised the Jets O, didn’t try exploiting the ‘boys weakness, in covering the TE. I expected Baker to be more involved, but my expectations, and the gameplans by Schott, are often at odds.
I don’t like Schott, and was disappointed when some team didn’t hire him in the off-season. I’m still hoping for this off-season.
This was the rare occasion where I actually thought the D was the least of the Jets problems. Why is every time Coles is hurt, Cotchery develops “Manos de Piedra”? The offensive was horrible and Kellen looked very uncomfortable back there. I know they have to stick with him and see what he has, but halfway through the 3rd qtr., I found myself daydreaming about Chad coming off the bench. Give the Cowboys D credit, though…they didn’t make life easy. The Jets simply aren’t ready for prime-time.
