While the Jets are not, as of yet, confirming or denying they have acquired Bears running back Thomas Jones, I did speak to an NFL source who said the deal was legit.
However, the source did mention one caveat – it sounded like the Bears were giving up too much for the 37th pick. So the source questioned that perhaps, just perhaps, the swapping of second-round draft picks was not accurately reported.
Anyway, hope to have this sorted out in the next half hour or so. Hopefully.
