For the third time in four weeks, a Westchester-Putnam-Rockland coach has been honored by the Jets as the team’s high school coach of the week.
This time, Mike Bub of Sacred Heart in Yonkers has been named, earning his school a $1,000 donation to benefit the football program.
Bub, a Yorktown resident, previously coached at Cardinal Spellman and Fordham Prep. Sacred Heart is in its first season of varsity competition and earned its first victory last weekend.
Previous winners include Fox Lane’s Billy Broggy and Ossining’s Dan Ricci.
